'We're open to make changes if...': Rohit Sharma

Despite Rashid Khan's improved bowling figures of 3/26 against India, Suryakumar Yadav's exceptional innings of 53 off 28 balls propelled India to a total of 181 for 8 after they chose to bat first on a surface that made it difficult to hit through the line. Afghanistan's run chase never gained momentum, and they were bowled out for 134 in exactly 20 overs. Hunter Biden Found Guilty Of Lying About Drug Use To Buy Gun

President Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden was convicted by a jury on Tuesday of lying about his drug use to illegally buy a gun, a verdict Democrats may seize upon to counter Donald Trump's claim of a justice system weaponized against him. A jury in Wilmington, Delaware, federal court found him guilty on all three counts against him, making Hunter Biden the first child of a sitting US president to be convicted of a crime. A verdict of the 12-member jury must be unanimous on each count. The trial followed the May 30 criminal conviction of Trump, the first former US president to be found guilty of a felony and the Republican challenger to Joe Biden, a Democrat, in the Nov. 5 election. Trump, convicted on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to cover up a sex scandal, accuses Democrats of pursuing that case and three other criminal prosecutions to prevent him from regaining power in his rematch with Joe Biden. On His 2nd Attempt, Actor Gets BJP Its 1st-Ever Lok Sabha Seat In Kerala

It may have failed to get a majority on its own, but the BJP has managed to make inroads in a state that has rejected it in Lok Sabha elections throughout its history. National award-winning Suresh Gopi won the Thrissur Lok Sabha seat for the saffron party, ensuring that it opened its account in Kerala. Up against two strong candidates in the CPM's VS Sunilkumar and the Congress' K Muraleedharan, Mr Gopi managed to win the seat by 74,686 seats.  Exit polls had also predicted a win for the actor but his rivals had said it would not happen - and they had support from history. He had also fought from the Thrissur Assembly constituency in 2021, coming third again, but losing by a margin of less than 4,000 votes.  He also focused on the constituency during his stint in the Rajya Sabha between 2016 and 2022, which seems to have fi...

Nortje, Kagiso Rabada (2/21), and Keshav Maharaj (2/22) combined to claim eight wickets, restricting Sri Lanka to their lowest T20 total of 77 in 19.1 overs. from Times of India https://ift.tt/ScKUnvW
