Sylvester Stallone Hypes Up The Expendables 4 With Throwback Photo

Sylvester Stallone is officially locked in for The Expendables 4, that much we know. Yes, after much back and forth, with the actor’s alleged fallout with Nu Image/Millennium chairman Avi Lerner leading fans to think that his time playing the cigar-chomping Barney Ross was done, Sly was finally able to reach an agreement that would allow him to return to the franchise for one last hurrah.

At the moment, filming on the star-studded blockbuster is expected to kick off in Bulgaria next month, and though we haven’t had any further updates on the project beyond that in quite a while, it looks like things are still gearing up to take flight in April. Or at least, it sure seems that way, as Stallone has taken to Instagram this week to share an awesome Expendables throwback photo along with the following caption:

THE THREE WISEGUYS … the last of the breed !

Whether this was meant as a tease of more news to come, or simply just Sly feeling a bit nostalgic, his post has got fans hyped up for the fourth installment in the series and asking when we’ll receive a status update. Or, better yet, a confirmed roster. After all, we’re still unsure of who, exactly, will jump back on the bandwagon in time for Expendables 4.

Jason Statham and Dolph Lundgren are the safe bets, while we imagine that folks like Wesley Snipes, Jet Li, and Star Wars legend Harrison Ford have said goodbye to the franchise. Ditto for Bruce Willis, who was going to reprise his role in The Expendables 3 before a messy fall out with Stallone.

In any case, with The Expendables 4 heading into production at some point in the next few weeks, we imagine the always active social media user that is Sylvester Stallone will have more updates for us shortly.

Jama Masjid's Shahi Imam Syed Ahmed Bukhari on Friday expressed concerns over the "storm of hatred" in the country, and urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to listen to the 'Mann Ki Baat' of Muslims. Citing recent incidents like the Nuh riots and the killing of four persons by a railway police jawan on a running train, Ahmed Bukhari suggested in his Friday sermon at the historic mosque that PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah hold dialogue with intellectuals from the community. "I have been compelled to speak due to the existing situation in the country. The situation in the country is worrisome and a storm of hatred is posing grave danger to peace in the country," Ahmed Bukhari said. "You say your 'Mann Ki Baat' but you also need to listen to the 'Mann Ki Baat' of Muslims. The Muslims are troubled due to the prevailing conditions and worried about their future," Ahmed Bukhari said, referring to PM Modi's monthly radio pro...
