First Rambo V: Last Blood Trailer Promises A Bloody Final Adventure

Since the start of 2019, Sylvester Stallone has been hopping on Instagram on a fairly regular basis to bring us tantalizing looks at the upcoming Rambo V: Last Blood, with the intention being that each set of photos will tease a bit more of the story. So far, these pics have largely covered the peaceful opening stretch of the film, when John Rambo will be trying to live a quiet life on an Arizona ranch, but now, it looks like Stallone – and the studio – are finally ready to give us a real taste of the action to come.

After leaking online earlier this week, we now have the first official trailer for Last Blood, and it promises a gritty, dark and, of course, bloody affair for the grizzled hero. Being just the initial preview for the sequel, it doesn’t give us a whole lot, but along with a look at a much older Rambo, there’s also a number of shots of John doing what he does best: preparing for war and taking out baddies in brutal fashion.

Plot-wise, we know that it’ll be Yvette Monreal’s character Gabrielle who brings Rambo back into the fray, after she’s kidnapped by a cartel. In his mission to rescue the young woman, he’ll be joined by Paz Vega’s reporter Carmen Delgado, and will ultimately go up against the cartel’s leader Hugo Martinez, played by Sergio Peris-Mencheta. It doesn’t sound like the deepest or most moving story, but plot has never been this series’ strong suit.

What we come for is the action and so far, Last Blood is shaping up to be another blood-soaked adventure. One with a high body count and a heavy dosage of Stallone-style, old-school mayhem. And that’s exactly what we’re looking forward to seeing.

Lionsgate has already warned us that the film will end the franchise in a “truly unexpected” way, too, and while we don’t know how director Adrian Grunberg will go about doing that, we’ll find out soon enough, as Rambo V: Last Blood hits theaters on September 20th.

Listen To Indian Muslims' "Mann Ki Baat": Jama Masjid Shahi Imam To PM

Jama Masjid's Shahi Imam Syed Ahmed Bukhari on Friday expressed concerns over the "storm of hatred" in the country, and urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to listen to the 'Mann Ki Baat' of Muslims. Citing recent incidents like the Nuh riots and the killing of four persons by a railway police jawan on a running train, Ahmed Bukhari suggested in his Friday sermon at the historic mosque that PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah hold dialogue with intellectuals from the community. "I have been compelled to speak due to the existing situation in the country. The situation in the country is worrisome and a storm of hatred is posing grave danger to peace in the country," Ahmed Bukhari said. "You say your 'Mann Ki Baat' but you also need to listen to the 'Mann Ki Baat' of Muslims. The Muslims are troubled due to the prevailing conditions and worried about their future," Ahmed Bukhari said, referring to PM Modi's monthly radio pro...
