Covid: Third vaccine available for 12-17 age group as Corbevax gets nod

The nation’s drug regulator has authorised vaccine-maker Biological E’s Corbevax for emergency use among children in the 12-17 age group, making a third shot available in the coronavirus inoculation drive for youngsters. The government has already placed its purchase order for 5 crore doses of Corbevax, which are likely to be available in the states by February-end.
