Prophet row: Unrest in several states after Friday prayers

Protests were held after the Friday prayers in several states and Union territories across the country against the controversial remarks made by former BJP spokespersons Nupur Sharma and Navin Kumar Jindal on Prophet Muhammad with police resorting to lathicharge and teargassing at some places where the demonstrations turned violent.
