SC ‘very unhappy’ with ‘mechanical’ orders of NGT

In what could discomfit the National Green Tribunal (NGT), the Supreme Court has put its scanner on many instances of NGT passing “mechanical and pre-drafted” orders and said it would soon take up this issue and pass corrective orders. The Justice Kant-led bench said, “This is not the first instance. Mechanical and pre-drafted orders are being passed (by the NGT) almost every day.
