After lull, violence in Manipur amid home minister Amit Shah's call for peace

The arson was concentrated in Imphal East, but gunshots reverberated through the valley and the hills as security forces went after suspected militants targeting civilians at various places, including Bishnupur and Churachandpur. Two people were reported wounded in the crossfire.
