Salman's Punch On Aamir's New Love: "Jab Tak Woh Marriage Perfect..."

The Great Indian Kapil Show season three is all set to come back on the streaming giant Netflix. On Wednesday, the makers released a teaser of the first episode featuring Salman Khan. The Sikandar actor seems to be in a mood to tickle the funny bone of the viewers with his unfiltered comments.

Breaking Down The Teaser

  • Salman Khan's association with Kapil Sharma goes back to The Kapil Sharma Show, which was produced by the television arm of the superstar's banner Salman Khan Television. The production house had co-produced the second and third season of The Kapil Sharma Show, which aired on Sony Entertainment Television channel.
  • Now, Kapil Sharma is hosting The Great Indian Kapil on Netflix since March 30, 2024. Its third season is set to premiere on June 21, 2025. 
  • In the teaser of the series, Salman Khan pokes fun at the streamer and says, "Netflix snatched this show from us and invited me on the show as a guest. Kamal ka power hai (It has a lot of power)."
  • Kapil Sharma asks Salman Khan when he is going to get married, citing the example of fellow star Aamir Khan who introduced his partner Gauri Spratt to the media on the eve of his 60th birthday. Salman Khan, with a straight face, says, "Aamir ka case kuch alag hai (Aamir's case is a bit different). He's a perfectionist. Wo jab tak marriage perfect nahin kar lega (Until he achieves perfection in his marriage...)" Before the Sikandar star could complete his sentence, he bursts into laughter. 
  • Salman Khan also made a joke at the expense of his latest release Sikandar. Addressing professional Salman Khan imitators on stage, Salman Khan quips, "Is everything fine? I hope Sikandar didn't have a bad effect on business."
  • Salman Khan and Kapil Sharma also sing the iconic track O Oh Jaane Jaana together from the star's 1998 film Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya.

About The New Season 

Kapil Sharma and Netflix shared a joint post revealing the teaser. The caption read, "Sikandar's swag + Kapil's timing = BLOCKBUSTER. The Great Indian Kapil Show is back, aur har Funnyvaar badhega humara parivaar. Watch the first episode from 21st June, 8 pm, every Saturday only on Netflix." 

Series regulars such as Krushna Abhishek, Archana Puran Singh, Sunil Grover, Navjot Singh Sidhu will also be a part of the show this season.
