Karnataka hijab row grows, High Court to hear pleas

The hijab row raging in a college in Udupi in southern Karnataka since last month enveloped another institution in the same district on Thursday as 28 students in headscarves were prevented from entering. The Karnataka high court is set to hear on Tuesday two petitions seeking a directive to permit Muslim students wearing headscarves to attend classes.
