'Women fighter pilots in IAF permanent scheme now'

The government has decided to convert the “experimental” scheme for induction of women as fighter pilots in the IAF into a “permanent” one now, defence minister Rajnath Singh said on Tuesday. “It is a testimony to the capability of India’s ‘Nari Shakti’ and our PM Modi’s commitment to women empowerment,” said Singh.
