India rejects 'secret memo' claim over Nijjar killing

India strongly rejects fake a report alleging a secret memo issued by the Indian government in April to take concrete measures against Sikh separatists, including Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Indian spokesperson dismisses the report as part of a sustained disinformation campaign against India and accuses the outlet as known for propagating fake narratives peddled by Pakistani intelligence. In September, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau alleged the potential involvement of Indian agents in the killing of Khalistani extremist Nijjar. India rejected the charges as absurd.
