1 Dead After North East Express Derails In Bihar, Rescue Teams At Site

A passenger was killed after at least six coaches of North East Express coming from Anand Vihar Terminus in Delhi derailed in Bihar on Wednesday, an official said.

He said the incident took place close to Raghunathpur station near Buxar around 9.35 pm and that the train was on its way to Kamakhya near Guwahati in Assam.

Teams of the national and state disaster response forces have been sent to the site. Hospitals have been told be stay alert.
