Fitbit app goes down in the US, users report missing data, device connection issue

The Fitbit app has been experiencing an outage since October 11, causing users to be unable to access their fitness metrics and connect their devices. This has affected the newly-launched Fitbit Charge 6, which relies on the app for its functionality. The issue has also impacted the connectivity of Google's Pixel Watch 2 smartwatches.
